* LONG BEACH STATE (1-4) at UCLA (0-6), 2 p.m. KAVL Radio (610)--This could be the Bruins’ best chance to get a victory in nonconference play. The 49ers have beaten only Wagner College of Staten Island, N.Y., 68-59. UCLA, still missing Nicole Kaczmarski and LaCresha Flannigan in its backcourt, hasn’t come close to winning. Its closest game was a 15-point loss at Brigham Young. After today, UCLA plays at Old Dominion and Ohio State, meets Pepperdine at Pauley Pavilion, then finishes the nonconference schedule at home against No. 5 Georgia. Its Pacific 10 Conference season begins Jan. 4 at Washington.
