Benefit to Celebrate ‘Real New Millennium’
“2001: An Earth Odyssey: The Real New Millennium Party” will be presented by Alliance for Survival on Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Church in Ocean Park, 235 Hill St., Santa Monica.
The evening will feature stand-up comedy with Kenny Kahn, music and dancing with the Gary Gordon Real Millennium Band, political comics Denise Munro Robb and David Zasloff, special guests and surprises.
Master of ceremonies will be Hal the Computer of “2001: A Space Odyssey” fame.
Admission includes buffet dinner, champagne and parking.
The cost is $40 per person ($20.01 for low-income individuals). Proceeds will benefit Alliance for Survival, a peace and environmental organization.
