Re “Struck by ‘Golden Miracles,’ ” Jan. 25: I cringed when I read the beginning, because, as a Christian, I find no evidence in the Bible calling us to “minister in miracles.” At least the presence of other viewpoints helps balance the story.
The miracles that I see today do not come in the form of “gold crowns” or nonconfirmed healings. Rather, they come in the form of changed lives. People who can forgive because they are forgiven, people who can love because they are loved and people who have hope because they trust in the promise of eternal life through belief in Jesus Christ.
