ICU Medical Inc.

The San Clemente maker of medical connectors reported fourth-quarter net income of $3.1 million, or 36 cents a share, 55% higher than the $2 million, or 24 cents a share, it earned a year earlier. Sales grew 35% to $13.2 million. Net income for the year totaled $9.4 million, or $1.08 a share, 31% higher than the $7.2 million, or 86 cents a share, for 1998. Sales advanced 18% to $47 million.
