PLACENTIA
The school board will meet Friday to select a company that will help find a new superintendent for the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Supt. James O. Fleming, who has headed up the district for 13 years, will retire at the end of this school year. School district officials are working to find a replacement but will seek outside help for recruiting qualified candidates. The special meeting will begin 8 a.m. at the Education Service Center in 4999 Casa Loma, Yorba Linda.
