Impersonators Bring History to Life
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum will host a troupe of presidential impersonators, called “the Living Legends,” for performances Feb. 21 in honor of the Presidents Day holiday.
Abraham Lincoln will be portrayed by John Kendall, who will recite the Gettysburg Address in the library courtyard at 12:15 p.m.
Judith Helton and her one-woman show, “Abigail Adams: Revolutionary Woman,” will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Finally, ex-history teacher Peter Small will be “giving ‘em hell” as Harry S. Truman in the library courtyard at 1 p.m.
The Living Legends are dedicated to preserving history by reenacting memorable historical moments and performing a variety of personalities, including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Thomas Edison, Father Junipero Serra, Susan B. Anthony and Golda Meir.
