ORANGE
The Orange Unified School District will hold an emergency closed session meeting at 4:30 p.m. today after a federal judge rules on a request by two students at El Modena High School for a preliminary injunction ordering the district to allow their Gay-Straight Alliance to meet on campus. The board will also receive an update on teacher contract talks and discuss the lawsuit between the district and the classified retirees who say the district has reneged on a promise to provide free medical care.
