* California History--Theatreworks/USA will present its new musical, “Gold Rush!,” on Feb. 19 at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s Scherr Forum, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. The production tells the story of two families who set off from different parts of the U.S. with hopes of making it rich during California’s gold rush days. $14 general; $12 children. 646-8907.
* Jazz--Happy Valley School will present another installment of its jazz concert series with vocalist Edmonia Jarrett. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19; 2 p.m. Feb. 20. Jarrett will be backed by Eddie Guthman on bass, Jim Calire on piano and Kenny Dixon on drums. $15. * Dinner-Concert--California Grill in Camarillo will combine the music of Celtic rock band Clandestine with a “medieval feast” Feb. 21. The restaurant will be illuminated entirely by candlelight for dinner show. The menu will include oysters Kilpatrick, fish, fowl, turkey legs and spinach mashed potatoes. $35, plus tax and tip. * Prez Day--Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will hold its annual Presidents Day Lawn Party on Feb. 21. Activities include storytelling, music, dancing, carnival games, president look-alikes and food. Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free. Before the event, there will be a 5K run, a family fun run and a one-mile sprint up the library’s steep driveway. Advance registration for 5K and sprint events, $15; day of event, $20. Family fun run, $25 per family. Proceeds will benefit Southeast Ventura County YMCA. The library is at 40 Presidential Drive, near Simi Valley. 522-8444.
