ANAHEIM
The City Council voted Tuesday night to deny the Festival Regional Shopping Center on East Santa Ana Canyon Road a 45-foot-high advertising sign that would have been visible from the Riverside Freeway. Representatives from the center said they needed the sign to attract customers. Council members said the larger sign would have violated Anaheim Hills’ signage rules and urged the shopping center to look into other forms of advertising.
