Madison Marquette Fills Marketing Post
* Arlene Kaye has been named director of strategic marketing for Madison Marquette Realty Services in Irvine. She will be responsible for the overall marketing of the 26 shopping centers that Madison Marquette manages for the Irvine Co., including Fashion Island and the Irvine Spectrum Center. Kaye was formerly regional vice president of marketing, West Coast region, for General Growth Properties of California Inc.
* Mark T. Palin is the new managing partner of the Irvine office of Arter & Hadden LLP. He joined the law firm in 1994 and practices in the areas of business litigation, securities fraud and employment matters. In addition, Chris Kilpatrick has been appointed chair of the firm’s Technology Practice and Advisory Group. Kilpatrick had been president of Interplay Productions, a publisher and developer of interactive computer games, before joining Arter & Hadden in December.
* William A. Karambelas is the new executive vice president of network operations for Broadband Digital Group in Newport Beach. Karambelas was previously vice president of advanced technology and government systems for GST Telecom, and was a founding member of Metropolitan Fiber Systems. Grant Johnson has joined the company as vice president of marketing and Scott Bogdan was named director of business operations and strategic planning. Johnson was formerly principal of GRI Inc., and led corporate marketing and global branding for AST Computer. Bogdan was previously in management positions with Adsmart Network and 2CAN Media.
* Tamra McVey has been appointed controller of Linscott, Law & Greenspan, Engineers in Costa Mesa. She joined the firm in 1992 as a corporate accountant.
* Michael D. Chermak has been appointed to the board of directors of Physician.com in Newport Beach. He is co-founder and original chairman of Medibuy.com in San Diego, and founder and chief executive of Healthdemographics Inc.
* Lynae Rice has been appointed senior vice president for Mortgage Banking Performance Support in Irvine. Rice had been a partner in a consulting firm, and previously held management positions at Home Savings.
* Stephanie Crowley has been named vice president of the T&O; Group in Irvine, an advertising and public relations agency. During her nine years with the firm, she has been media planner, media supervisor, marketing services manager, account executive and account supervisor.
* V. Chandrashekhar has been named vice president, financial services, for the new financial services practice of Nexgenix Inc. in Irvine. The financial services practice will be headquartered in New York City. Previously, Chandrashekhar was a partner at A.T. Kearney Inc., and a partner at Booz, Allen & Hamilton in the financial services practice.
