Bust of Martin Luther King to Be in White House

WASHINGTON —
A bust of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will soon grace the main floor of the White House, marking the first time a black American is so honored, President Clinton said.
Clinton disclosed the information when he accepted an award Wednesday from the National Assn. for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education, a group that represents predominantly black colleges and universities.
