Local bus riders may have to walk an additional block or so to get to and from their usual bus stops if Orange County Transportation Authority board members approve a route proposal next month. The new routes, to take effect in June if approved, may inconvenience some commuters but may also save them time, said OCTA spokesman Dave Simpson. As proposed, Yorba Linda’s bus will travel west along Imperial Highway instead of Yorba Linda Boulevard where the two streets meet. Residents will have an opportunity to voice their opinions at a hearing beginning at 9 a.m. Monday at 10 Civic Center Plaza in Santa Ana. Information: (714) 636-RIDE.
