TriZetto Reports 4th-Quarter Loss of $5 Million

The TriZetto Group Inc., a Newport Beach provider of Internet services for the health care industry, said Tuesday that it lost $5 million, or 29 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, compared with a net loss of $108,000, or 2 cents a share, for the previous year’s final three months.

Quarterly revenue rose to $11.2 million from $3 million.

For the year, the company lost $7.9 million, or 85 cents a share, contrasted with net income of $60,000 for the prior year. Revenue increased to $32.9 million from $11.4 million.
