Bennem Returns to Anteater Basketball Team
Zamiro Bennem has returned to the UC Irvine men’s basketball team after missing a week because of personal matters.
Bennem, a 6-foot-3 sophomore guard, sat out Irvine’ last two games, but was on the bench Saturday when the Anteaters defeated UC Santa Barbara.
He has played in 19 games, starting 10, and is averaging six points. Bennem will be in uniform Thursday when Irvine plays at Pacific.
