Seven candidates vying for one council seat voiced their opinions on various issues facing the city during a forum in the City Council chambers Tuesday night.
The candidates--David Christian, Ryan Clark, Keith deBrucky, Art Gerdes, Jim Kapko, Ken Ryan and Ken Stewart--answered questions on a range of subjects, from what to do with the city manager to their support for local businesses, the arts and term limits. All seven are running for a vacant seat once held by Gene Wisner, who resigned in September.
The forum, hosted by the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce, was attended by more than 100 people. Many residents watched it broadcast live by the local cable company on Channel 3, which will rebroadcast the forum at 7 p.m. March 1.
