Malissa Thompson to Edit PlanetGirl

* Girl Games Inc. has named Malissa Thompson editor in chief of Los Angeles-based PlanetGirl.com, an online network for teen girls. Thompson was most recently executive editor of Jump magazine.

* Martin McDermut has joined the senior management team at Superconductor Technologies Inc. as chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration. Santa Barbara-based Superconductor Technologies makes products for wireless communications.

* James Kraus has been promoted to executive vice president, general sales manager, at Carsey-Werner Domestic Television Distribution in Studio City. He will be in charge of domestic sales operations.

* Bill Keenan, former chief financial officer of E! Entertainment Television, has been tapped as chief executive of Pasadena-based Swap.com, an online trading site for children backed by Internet incubator Idealab.

* Enigma Digital, an Internet music network based in Santa Monica, has named former Atlantic Records and Capitol Records executive David Kronemyer senior vice president of business affairs. Kronemyer also headed his own law practice and is an expert in streaming media.

Investment banker David L. Dennis has been named chief corporate officer and chief financial officer of Santa Barbara-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. Dennis succeeds Trevor Fetter, who has been named chairman and chief executive officer of online venture Broadlane Inc.
