The Arts Assn., an informal committee put together by the city to help choose a city seal, is expected to present several concepts Wednesday, City Clerk Meg Monahan said. The association took over the task after the winner of the city seal contest took back his design when the city asked him to sign away his rights to it. The designs brought forth by the association will be presented to the City Council in January, Monahan said. If any are approved, a professional consultant may be hired to rework and polish up the designs. If none are approved, the city may consider hiring a designer for the job.
