MISSION VIEJO
The library may impose age restrictions on video rentals if the City Council passes such a resolution at tonight’s meeting. The council will decide whether to limit the types of movies available to children under 18. A new state law requires every public library receiving state funds and renting motion picture videos to adopt a policy regarding video access by minors. If the council passes the resolution, age restrictions would become effective immediately. The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at City Hall, 25909 Pala.
