UC Irvine’s Gottschalk Leaves Basketball Team
Mark Gottschalk, a sophomore center at UC Irvine, has left the team, school officials announced Monday.
The 6-foot-10 Gottschalk, who is from Trout Lake, Wash., had played in all nine games this season. He was averaging one point and two rebounds. He played in 24 games, averaging three points and two rebounds, last season.
