A Hand In Their Banishment
Please stop with the attempted guilt trip number (“Mothers of the Banished,” by Juanita Darling, Nov. 21). The “banished” were people who thumbed their noses at America’s laws by entering the country illegally. Then, out of greed or laziness or lack of morals or to satisfy a drug habit, the “banished” chose lives of crime. They chose to prey on other people. Nobody forced the “banished” into criminal conduct.
