The City Council recently approved an eight-lot residential tract at the southwest corner of Del Obispo Street and Calle Aspero.
At last week’s regular meeting, the council approved the motion over the protests of a few residents who live near the project site. The residents expressed concern over the height of the retaining walls along Del Obispo and Calle Aspero, which were set at a maximum of 3 and 7 feet, respectively. Stonefield Development agreed to take financial responsibility for the walls, use a wall design to allow for landscaping and replace any trees damaged during construction.
