Ex-Radicals

Re “A Radical Change in Lifestyle,” Jan. 11, about former members of the Symbionese Liberation Army: I was interested in the remark by Jack Scott regarding those members still at large: “It’s just a shame. All these people--from the cops, to Kathy, to Patty--they should all be at home raising their kids.”

I think that translates to, “If you’re rich enough to evade the police for 20 years, you should get a free pass for the rest of your life.”
