Former Israeli Prime Minister to Speak Feb. 27 in Newport

Benjamin Netanyahu, the former Israeli prime minister, will speak at Temple Bat Yahm in Newport Beach at 7 p.m. Feb. 27, as the temple’s 2000 Norman Schiff Scholar Lecturer.
Netanyahu, who has recently published the book “A Durable Peace: Israel and Its Place Among Nations,” was Israel’s youngest prime minister as well as the first to be elected directly by voters. He served from 1996-99.
Tickets for the lecture are $25 for general admission, $18 for full-time students and seniors. A patron package is available for $300. Reserved tickets are $50.
