Your Leonardos, your Toms and Nicoles and your Winonas can opt to breeze through the arrivals line or shun it entirely, but that red-carpeted media gantlet outside a premiere or awards show represents a plethora of exposure opportunities not to be missed. And to save us the embarrassment of having to ask a flack, “Who is she?” while the actress in question is standing, um, right there, publicists Jennifer Pinto and Craig Schneider now pass fortune cookie-sized slips of paper out in advance of their clients. (To the left is one they’ll hand out at the Golden Globes tonight.) On it, the actress’ vital signs: name, maybe her credits and, of course, the designer she’s wearing. Now, if they’d only add their favorite beauty tip and what it’s like working with [insert lead actor or big-name director here], we wouldn’t even have to show up.
