BUENA PARK
Students from Carl E. Gilbert Elementary School who need a boost in their reading skills will get the opportunity beginning Jan. 31.
An extended day reading program will target second- through sixth-graders who need the extra support and additional instruction in learning to read. The 11-week program will be Mondays and Wednesdays, and eight teachers will participate.
