ORANGE
Six Orange Unified School District teachers were awarded by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, in which the teachers have been judged by colleagues as meeting the highest levels of professional standards.
The teachers are Donna Banning from El Modena High; Maribel Pawl, West Orange Elementary; Claudia Ross, El Rancho Middle School; and Katherine Cozza, Jenie Roney and Cindy Templeton, Cambridge Elementary.
Each teacher received a $10,000 check.
