It’s not too late to sign up for belly- and tap-dancing classes at the Recreation and Community Services Department. Children ages 6 to 12 can learn the exotic dance with a Wednesday class that begins next week and continues through March 8. The session begins at 4:15 p.m. and lasts an hour. The fee is $36.
A tap class for dancers 16 and older will begin Feb. 24 and last six weeks. It will be held Thursdays from 6:15 to 7 p.m. Information: (562) 430-1073.
