The Internal Revenue Service’s walk-in office at 34 Civic Center Plaza will extend office hours through the filing season to help those with tax questions. The office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays through April 15. A representative from the California Franchise Tax Board will be on hand to assist those with state income tax issues. The office will also have extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 6, with a state tax representative available from 5 to 6 p.m. The office will be open until 7 p.m. April 10 to 14. Finally, the office will be open on tax day, April 15, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.
