2 Workers Found Dead in Deflated Blimp
Two maintenance workers have been found dead inside the deflated gas bag of a blimp under construction in a hangar at San Bernardino International Airport, officials reported Friday.
The San Bernardino Fire Department said the bodies of the 35-year-old man and 32-year old woman were discovered by another employee about 6 p.m. Thursday. The officials did not disclose the identity of the victims.
The cause of death was not immediately determined, but the Fire Department said the victims, who had been working inside a stabilizing balloon within the gas bag, may have suffocated. Police said foul play was not suspected.
