Adande’s Tribute Touches Readers

Share

Tears came into my eyes as I read J.A. Adande’s article [“Mom Fought Like a True Champ,” June 28]. It is the finest tribute to a mother by a son that I have ever read. It reminded me of my own mother who devoted her life to caring for others and not herself. She died at 100 years of age in her sleep. Best wishes.

My thanks to J.A. Adande for his generosity in sharing such a moving, heartfelt tribute to his mother, when I know his heart is breaking. I join him in saluting her strength, and wish to add another triumph to her long list; the son she raised.
