LA HABRA
The La Habra/Brea Boys & Girls Club is holding sign ups for children interested in learning about the state’s history.
The club is sending 40 club members on a train trip to San Juan Capistrano on Aug. 3 to see the California History Pageant’s “Capistrano,” a musical detailing the state’s social and historical character between 1776 and 1865. Performers will break between acts to teach what life was like in the Spanish mission of San Juan Capistrano.
Parents of members can sign their children up at the club’s educational center at 1211 Fahringer Way. For more information, call (562) 691-1263.
