The City Council on Tuesday adopted a resolution requiring owners of a former gas station on Cerritos and Western avenues to fill in large holes at the site, repair fencing around the site and apply for the proper permits to do so. The gas station has been out of business for more than a year. The holes were dug to remove gas tanks but have not been filled and are dangerous, said Mayor Al Ethans.
