HUNTINGTON BEACH

The City Council will hold a public hearing Aug. 7 to discuss a change to the plan for the development of Huntington Beach Mall, renamed The Crossings at Huntington. The amendment would allow one drive-through bakery.

Earlier this month, the council approved a plan setting guidelines for the mall’s redevelopment. The plan excluded drive-through restaurants and automotive repair facilities, while creating parking spaces for full-size and compact cars. Councilman Dave Sullivan said having a drive-through bakery at the new mall will attract more people.
