Leslie Jane Whiteley; Lifelong County Resident
Leslie Jane Whiteley, a homemaker and lifelong county resident, died Monday at a Ventura hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 40.
She was born on Sept. 22, 1959, in Ventura and went to school in Ojai. She later graduated from Nordhoff High School.
Her hobbies included genealogy and painting.
She is survived by her husband Leonard, their children Troy, Trevor, Elizabeth and Carl; her parents Troy and Patsy Whitteker of Ojai; her brothers, Michael, Ken and David Whitteker, all of Ojai; sisters Christine Spilotro of Portland, Ore., and Rebecca Enlow of Ojai.
Memorial services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Ojai with the Rev. Coryl Lassen-Willems officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Clausen Funeral Home in Ojai.
