Time Warner Inc.’s Warner Bros. Records, Sony Corp.’s Sony Music Entertainment Inc. and other record labels have reached an agreement with Dynamine Music Archive to prevent the Web site from distributing copyrighted MP3 music files.

U.S. District Judge William Alsup ruled Wednesday, as part of the agreement between Web site operator Michael Fischer and the record labels, that Dynamine cannot allow users to copy sound recordings from its archives and that Fischer will pay damages.
