Sheriff’s Department Seeks Public’s Help to Find 4 Fugitives

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in locating four people being sought for allegedly violating probation. Arrest warrants have been issued in each case.

Brian Scott Black, 33, allegedly violated his probation on a conviction for elder abuse. He last lived in the 4200 block of Nimitz Drive in Oxnard.

He is white, 6 feet 5 and 190 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Jesse Michael Pedi, 34, allegedly violated his probation on a conviction for passing bad checks. He last worked at an Oxnard mobile home company and last lived in the 100 block of Blackburn Place in Ventura.

Pedi is white, 5 feet 11 and 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. A cross is tattooed on his left index finger and the initials JP on his left hand.

Frank Medina, 29, allegedly violated his probation on two convictions of possessing a controlled substance. He last lived in the 1200 block of Alelia Avenue in Saticoy.

Medina is Latino, 6 feet 2 and 320 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The words “Carmen” and “Pride” are on his left arm, “Brown” on his right arm and “Medina” on his right shoulder.

Terry Gene Gertz, 34, allegedly violated his probation on a conviction for forgery. He last lived in the 4700 block of Terrace Avenue in Oxnard.

Gertz is white, 5 feet 11 and 190 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information should call Ventura County Crime Stoppers at 494-TALK or 385-TALK. There is a cash reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
