Arthur Andersen Names Managing Partner in Irvine
* Michael J. Puntoriero has been named managing partner of the Irvine office of Arthur Andersen. He has 22 years’ experience as an advisor to companies in a variety of industries. In addition, Don W. Dahl, a partner, has been appointed partner-in-charge of the firm’s incubator practice in Southern California.
* Julie Signorille is the new director of operations for MedCom USA’s MedCard division in Irvine. She had been a vice president of operations for Citibank, serving as the director of banking operations of Citibank’s Internet Bank.
* James Matthews has been appointed to the newly created position of corporate controller for Caliber Collision Centers in Irvine. Before joining the company, Matthews worked for Edison Capital and was responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial reporting.
* Rosa Esquivel, account director for Mendoza, Dillon & Asociados Inc. in Newport Beach, has been named vice president. Esquivel joined the agency in 1992.
* Jeanne Cranford has joined IA in Costa Mesa as project director. She is the former founder and principal of Andra Design Associates.
* John Olson has been appointed vice president of marketing for Simulation Sciences Inc. in Brea. He had been director of oil and gas marketing at Honeywell IAC. Before that, he was business development manager for Texas Instruments/Rexnord Automation.
* Valinda Accetta has joined Paine & Associates in Costa Mesa as director of the technology practice. She was formerly manager of product public relations for Western Digital Corp.
* John Olivier and Raymond Tokihiro have been named principals of Fuscoe Engineering Inc. in Irvine. Olivier is project manager for the Newport Banning Ranch developed by Taylor Woodrow Homes, and Tokihiro is project manager for Serrano Heights in Orange.
* Curt G. Johnson has been appointed senior vice president and national subdivision director for First American Title Insurance Co. in Santa Ana. Johnson joined the Phoenix branch office of First American as vice president of builder/commercial services in 1996 and was later made vice president, subdivision manager in Santa Ana. Before that, he was a senior associate for Prudential Arizona Realty Commercial Services Group in Phoenix.
* Joseph L. Coleman has joined the real estate and commercial finance practice of Snell & Wilmer LLP in Irvine as partner. He has 15 years of legal experience.
