ELabor.com Honored as Innovative Business

ELabor.com in Camarillo was a finalist in the innovators in sales and marketing category of the Inc./Cisco Growing with Technology Awards.

Winners and finalists were announced at a Washington ceremony during Small Business Week.

ELabor.com was recognized for various network and Internet initiatives that have directly contributed to its 530% growth rate since 1994. These initiatives included the launch of Web-based labor management products, online product demonstrations and other sales-related uses of the Internet designed to lower the cost of selling. Also mentioned was how the company used technology to facilitate internal communication between its labor resource planning specialists.

The Inc./Cisco Growing with Technology Awards program was designed to recognize small and medium-sized businesses that are using the Internet and technology to succeed. A panel of seven industry leaders selected 12 winners and 38 finalists in four categories from more than 500 applications.

The program is sponsored by Inc. magazine and Cisco Systems.

ELabor.com’s software includes payroll-related reporting functions and planning tools for optimal resource allocation, scheduling and project management.
