Accelerated Networks Hires New Tech Officer

Edward Thurman has joined Accelerated Networks in Moorpark as chief technology officer.

Thurman led the advanced technology development group at Sprint before joining Accelerated Networks. At Sprint, he was responsible for design, planning, software and hardware development and testing and implementation of that company’s voice, data and integrated services.

“Ed’s in-depth involvement with Sprint’s strategic concepts, plans and programs efforts gives him unique insight and experience in the development of next-generation networks,” said Suresh Nihalani, Accelerated Network’s president and chief executive.

Accelerated Networks develops products that enable telecommunications service providers to bundle voice and data services over a single network.
