* Motorcycles--The Outlaw Vintage Short Track Motorcycle Races will return to the Ventura Raceway on June 24. There will be races for 15 motorcycle classes. Heat races begin at 5 p.m. $15 general; ages 12 and under free. The raceway is at Seaside Park, 10 W. Harbor Blvd., Ventura. * Military--The annual Seabee Summerfest will return to the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Port Hueneme on June 24 and 25. A full-dress military parade opens the proceedings June 24 at 10 a.m. and includes Seabee military equipment and a 60-caliber gun salute. The event features military displays and Seabee demonstrations, ship tours, car and motorcycle shows, a carnival, live music, sports competitions and more. * Festival--The Thousand Oaks Kiwanis Club will hold its “Men Can Cook, Too! Festival” on June 25 at the Westlake Hyatt in Westlake Village. There will be a car show--featuring Corvettes, antique cars, street rods and specialty models--plus food and wine tastings, live entertainment and more. Hours: 4-7 p.m. $25. * Alternative--The Vans Warped Tour 2000 will make a stop at Seaside Park in Ventura on June 28. The show features Green Day, NOFX, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, MXPX, Long Beach DUB All Stars and more than 20 other bands. Featured events include the Modart Traveling Art Contest, Tiki Tent, Dave “The Bullet” Smith, the Toledo Show and the Freak Show, featuring skateboarder Steve Caballero.
