THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Wednesday:

ANAHEIM

* Pacific Avenue: A warrant arrest was made in the 9500 block at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday.

COSTA MESA

* Monrovia Avenue: A car was reported burglarized in the 1700 block at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Portia Circle: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 11500 block at 1:24 p.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Coast Highway: A skim board with an estimated value at $600 was reported to have been taken from a yard in the 31000 block at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Balboa Boulevard: A cellular phone valued at $250 was reported stolen in the 3000 block at 7:30 a.m. Friday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida del Reposo: A man reported receiving threatening phone calls over a business dispute in the 100 block at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Alipaz Street: A man reported that his rear license plate was stolen in front of his house in the 32000 block at 3:50 p.m. Sunday. The theft reportedly occurred between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday.

* Via San Vicente: Deputies spoke to a man sleeping in a car after a nearby resident reported a suspicious car in the 31000 block at 11:50 p.m. Monday. The man said he was lost and tired, so deputies gave him directions back to the freeway.

STANTON

* Chapman Avenue: Lost property was reported in the 10800 block at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday.

VILLA PARK

* Wanda Road: A report of a narcotics violation in the 10200 block at 12:13 a.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Brea, Buena Park, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Orange, Placentia, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin, Westminster and Yorba Linda.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
