THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* North Brea Boulevard: Vandalism was reported in the 700 block at 8:39 a.m. Wednesday.

* Brea Mall: Petty theft was reported in the 400 block at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday.

* Brea Mall Way: Theft was reported in the 500 block at 5:07 p.m. Wednesday.

DANA POINT

* Calle Juanita: A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and vandalism in the 26000 block at 8:20 p.m. Sunday.

* Camino Capistrano: A man in the 34000 block reported a telephone scam in which unknown people were attempting to obtain his credit card number at 4:15 p.m. Sunday.

* Del Obispo Street: A woman reported that the side mirror on her car was smashed in the 34000 block at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

* El Encanto: A man reportedly exposed himself in the 33000 block at 2 p.m. Sunday. Deputies could not find the perpetrator.

FULLERTON

* Rolling Hills Drive: A petty theft was reported in the 2800 block at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday.

* West Orangethorpe Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 400 block at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

* Quartz Lane: A burglary was reported in the 3200 block at 4:57 p.m. Wednesday.

* West Commonwealth Avenue: Battery was reported in the 2400 block at 1:08 p.m. Wednesday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Casa Linda Lane: A narcotics violation was reported in the 13000 block at 5:23 p.m. on Tuesday.

LA HABRA

* South Idaho Street: Vandalism was reported in the 900 block at 1:07 a.m. Wednesday.

* West Lambert Road: An auto theft was reported in the 1300 block at 7:06 a.m. Wednesday.

* Encinitas Street at Las Lomas Drive: A fight was reported at the intersection at 8:09 p.m. Wednesday.

ORANGE

* Randall Street: A suspicious person was reported in the 10400 block at 7:32 p.m. Wednesday.

* Buena Vista Street: Reports of shots fired in the 16500 block at 2:42 p.m. Sunday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* West Avenida Cadiz: Deputies assisted an animal control officer with an uncooperative dog in the 100 block at 11 a.m. Sunday. The dog cooperated.

* Avenida del Mar: A man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft after a store owner reported the theft of property by four people in the 100 block at 3:10 p.m. Sunday. The other three suspects were not located.

* Camino de los Mares: A woman reported that her parked car was struck by another car, which then left the scene, in the 600 block at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

VILLA PARK

* Canyon Crest Drive: A report of a burglary alarm in the 18900 block at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.

YORBA LINDA

* Smokey Mountain Way: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 5600 block at 5:39 p.m. Wednesday.

* Yorba Linda Boulevard: Grand theft was reported in the 18400 block at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Placentia, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
