Rapper Big L on the Chart Posthumously

Share

Another rapper has hit the charts posthumously, but unlike such slain stars as Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, Big L is little-known outside the hip-hop community. The Harlem rhymer, who was shot to death in February 1999, hits No. 4 on the Southern California chart and No. 20 nationally with “Flamboyant,” the first single from an upcoming album of unreleased tracks and remixes.
