The Brea Plunge is now open for a good soak, along with other community pools in the area. Swim classes are scheduled throughout the day, and the pool opened to the community this week from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. every day. Free swimming is also being offered during the July 4 celebration at City Hall Park, and during the upcoming Concerts in the Park series. The plunge is at 440 S. Walnut Ave. (714) 529-6233.
