The nomination period for the fall City Council elections will be July 17 to Aug. 11.
The City Council approved the nomination time, along with other regulations for the Nov. 7 general election of two council members, at its meeting Tuesday.
More than $30,000 has been allocated to conduct the election, but each candidate is required to pay an equal share of the printing and distribution of the Candidate’s Statement of Qualifications.
