Two Shot While Driving in Anaheim

Two people were shot Sunday evening while driving in Anaheim, police said. A man and woman were heading east on Ball Road between East Street and State College Boulevard around 8:20 p.m. when they were shot. They pulled the car into a nearby gas station and called police, Sgt. Paul Dohmann said. The pair were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange. The woman, who was shot in the elbow and the back, was in critical condition. The man, whose head was grazed by a bullet, was in fair condition, said a hospital spokeswoman. Information about their identities was unavailable Sunday night.
No description of the shooter or shooters was available.
