GARDEN GROVE

New officers for the Soroptimist International of Garden Grove were installed at this month’s high tea at Kiwanisland Park. The new club president, Joan Malm, announced the theme for her term of office: “Together in Friendship: Dedicated to Service.”

At the ceremony, Connie Margolin was appointed vice president, Shirley Serna, club secretary, and Patty Scarpine, treasurer. Other committee appointments include: Karen Lietz, chairwoman of the Growth and Development Committee; Paula Radi, chairwoman of the Ways and Means Committee; and Carolyn Morris, chairwoman of the Programs and Service Committee.
