The Matadors rallied from a 17-point deficit in the final eight minutes Thursday to defeat Portland State, 79-78. Center Brian Heinle broke a four-game slump with a game-high 19 points. Weber State defeated Northridge, 113-92, in January. Harold Arceneaux, last season’s Big Sky most valuable player, averages 21.2 points for the Wildcats.
