BALLSTON, N.Y. —
Passers-by saved a 9-month-old baby as frigid water gushed into a car that had plunged into a creek.
Cassidy Hale was reported in fair condition after being treated for hypothermia at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Her father, Clarence C. Hale, 29, and mother, Connie L. Delaney, 23, were also treated for hypothermia and moderate injuries. Police said Clarence Hale’s diabetes-related health problems may have contributed to the crash.
