GARDEN GROVE
The Garden Grove Unified School District will begin registration for fall kindergarten classes March 15. Children must be 5 years old on or before Dec. 2. Parents must provide either a birth certificate or other county record, baptism certificate, passport, immigration visa or a notarized affidavit from a parent or guardian if no other document is obtainable.
State law also requires that children receive MMR series, DPT series and hepatitis B immunizations. Immunizations are available from private medical providers, the Orange County Health Care Agency and through district health clinics at Dr. A.J. Cook Elementary School and the Lincoln Education Center. For information on school attendance areas, call (714) 663-6391.
